Man with a Phobia
A man went to a psychiatrist for his phobia. “Doc,” he said, “I’ve got trouble. Every time I get into bed, I think there’s somebody under it. I get under the bed. I think there’s somebody on top of it. Top, under, top, under. You gotta help me, I’m going crazy!” Just put yourself in my hands for two years,” said the shrink, “Come to me three times a week, and I’ll cure your fears.” “How much do you charge?” “A hundred dollars a visit.” “I’ll sleep on it,” said the man.
Six months later, the doctor met the man on the street.” Why didn’t you ever come to see me again?” asked the psychiatrist.” For a hundred buck’s a visit? A bartender cured me for ten dollars.” “Is that so! How?” “He told me to cut the legs off the bed!”

The Turtle
Deep within a forest, a little turtle began to climb a tree. Finally, after hours of effort, the turtle reached the top, then jumped into the air, waving its front legs and crashed to the ground. After recovering, the turtle slowly climbed the tree again, jumped, and fell to the ground. The turtle repeatedly tried while a couple of birds sitting on a branch watched his sad efforts. Finally, the female bird turned to the other bird. “Dear,” she chirped, “I think it’s time to tell him he’s adopted.”

Growing Up
My son, Bob, was only 5 feet, 8 inches tall when he left for college in the fall. He worked through the Christmas holidays and didn’t return home again until the February break. When he got off the plane, I was stunned at how much taller he looked. Measuring him at home, I discovered he now stood at 5 feet, 11 inches. My son was as surprised as I. “Couldn’t you tell by your clothes that you’d grown?” I asked him. “Since I’ve been doing my own laundry,” he replied, “I just figured everything had shrunk.”
My prayers are answered…
A grandmother who took her little grandson to the beach. They were having a good time until a huge wave came in and swept the boy out to sea. She fell down on her knees and pleaded to the heavens, “Please return my grandson, that’s all I ask! PLEASE!!!”
A moment later, lo and behold, a wave swelled from the ocean and deposited the wet yet unhurt child at her feet. She checked him over to make sure that he was okay. He was fine. But still, she looked up to the heavens angrily and said, “When we came, he had a hat!” Actors could rehearse a kiss as many as 20 times before the shoot. It kinda’ makes you wonder what all the fuss is about these days, in a Pandemic.
Ewwwww!
Young people in Norway are called to military duty to guard NATO’s northern borders. Until recently, when they were discharged, they were allowed to take their military-issued underwear with them. But no more, the Guardian reported. COVID-19 has caused supplies to dwindle. So, from January 7, people leaving service are asked to hand over their unmentionables, to be “washed, cleaned and checked,” defence logistics spokesman Hans Meisingset said. “What we distribute is in good condition.”
